~Opening Circle and Dedication to Wisdom~
Don't worry; we're not asking you to accept the monastic lifestyle! What we will
be doing in this Opening Ritual is opening ourselves up to Knowledge and Wisdom; dedicating ourselves, for the next few days,
to learning new ways of approaching energy work, sharing new ideas and techniques, and giving ourselves a chance to "do
this stuff FOR REAL". So often we hold back, afraid to fully use and experience our abilities, afraid to test ourselves and
our gifts......for this week, we would like everyone to come in "clean"; no misgivings, no doubts, no fears......a very tall
order, we know.......what we want our students and faculty to do is to be willing to do is to learn like children.... be open,
be aware, think and ask LOTS of questions......in a word LEARN...by listening, by observing, by doing. Try something new....
for years this has been the motto of CraftWise and now, CraftWise College.....we have a sacred and safe space to work in,
a beautiful landscape open to Nature around us.....let's have a great time! Learning IS FUN!!!!
~ Closing Circle of Commencement
~ July 12th ~
~ Maypole Site ~
~ Faculty, et al ~
The Closing Circle of Commencement is a collaborative affair, faculty contribute
pertinent ideas from their classes, and Students demonstrate their undersatnding of some of the materials they have been immersed
in this week. As we continue studies at Brushwood during Sirius or are forced to return to our separate lives, what we have
discovered about ourselves and our newly-expanded abilities will continue to move us along our Paths. Students will receive
the Key to continuing support over the next year, gaining access to our CWC Online Study Group. Here, Faculty wil continue
to offer support and ideas for continuing education. Booklists will be made available, suggested "homework" can be assigned
and evaluated. Students are encouraged to share experiences and ask questions.
