~ THE FLAMEKEEPERS ~
The Flame Keepers are a volunteer organization that provides first aid and security at Pagan Festivals.
They also work Magicly by setting wards and working as Guardians at the events and circles that they attend. The staff of
Flame Keepers are all a part of the Pagan Community and spend their free time serving the community at various gatherings/events
of all sizes. Everyone with The Flame Keepers is trained in EMS and/or Security fields, also they have training in alternative
medicine and healing. They are Firefighters, Police Officers, Paramedics, EMT's, CFR's, Security Officers and more. Keeping
you safe and healthy is just the beginning of their mission, our goal is also to try and help the Pagan Community by aiding
the different traditions in working together, and helping to build tolerance and acceptance from outside the Pagan faiths.
The members of the Flame Keepers are also committed to teaching and passing on everything that they know to their new members
and the Pagan Community as a whole. They teach classes on everything from first aid, CPR and security work to more magical
things like Reiki, setting wards and how to work as a Guardian. They are easily recognized by their green and gray sashes
tied at their waist. They are here for you and the betterment of the Pagan Community so if you have a question for them, a
medical problem that you need help with, if you want to learn more about The Flame Keepers or if you would just like to say
hi, please stop one of them and let them know how they can help. Editors
Note: Without volunteer, but professional, organizations like the Flame Keepers, the Pagan Community would
be less safe, less healthy and and would not run as smoothly. Speaking event organizers, Frank & I can attest to the amazing
level of support and high professional standards of this group. Service is the driving purpose and the satisfaction they derive
from a job well done is their reward. The entire Pagan/Metaphysical/Spiritual Community has gretaly benefitted from their
dedication, we hope we will all benefit form their hard work for years to come.

~Eric
Vazquez,CCT ~ is an experienced energy worker and has been studying
energy and healing for over a decade. Eric has previously worked as a counselor for dually diagnosed MRDD/MHDD mentally handicapped
adults, many of whom came directly out of NYS’s Letchworth system. Eric’s previous study of audio engineering
has also helped him to better understand the nuances of vibration and frequency, a.k.a. ENERGY. His sometimes analytical nature
has caused Eric to delve deep into the understanding and interplay of energy in various forms and has cause him to explore
the layering of various practices with systems and pantheons to effect a greater outcome. Eric is a first-aid volunteer and support staff for the
Flamekeepers, a group charged with maintaining the standards of
safety and security at various festivals and conventions throughout the year. Eric’s best and favorite medicine is his
dry wit and sarcastic humor. Eric has also presented workshops at Sirius Rising,
the Caduceus Festival, CraftWise, and has also appeared as guest co-host on Sacred Circle public access television until it
retired in 2004. In his not-so-spare time, Eric is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Salesperson working and residing

~ Robert C. Heath ~ Bob has been active as
a participant and teacher in the alternative community for many years. He has worked with Native Americans, The Orisha, and
other deities. He teaches energy work and counsels people in Atlanta where he currently resides. He is a Reki Master.
For many years, Bob travelled all over the country
with Dragonscale Jewelry, attended many of the larger pagan gatherings and gained a great deal of knowledge about what people
in different areas of the country do and feel. Bob is currently Student Services Director at Rising Spirit Institute
in Atlanta. In 2001 he took the initiation for Tibetan
Kala Chakra Tantra when the head of that order came to the U.S. It is was the first time that the initiation had been
offered outside of Tibet. In 2005 He was priviledged to take the initiation for the Avalokiteshvara in NY with the Dali Lama.
Bob continues to try and grow and learn as time
passes.
Ed. Note: Bob is very modest, and hates to do Bios.....but we
can tell you that without Bob, there would never have been the first CraftWise in 1995....and I will bet there are many gatherings
that feel the same. For many years, Bob did security at Brushwood during festivals, was Merchant co-ordinator for many events
(including CraftWise), and Bob is the guy ya go to if ya have a problem.... no matter how big or how small, Bob knows someone,
has the contacts, can do healing and "scanning" for physical problems and can always be counted on to help. Oh, and he was
Frank's best man at our wedding...... :)
